Geography Intent

  • Geography provides children with the necessary skills to develop their spatial awareness of the world around them.
  • Children will develop the ability to use and apply geographical skills through a growing range of enquiry skills, investigation, analysis and problem solving.
  • Pupils will learn and develop the skills, concepts and knowledge necessary for them to develop their ideas of global citizenship, broadening their understanding of people, places, patterns and environments and their impact on the world.
